ECO-TOURISM

Eco-tourism is a responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the welfare of the local population. FEES works with local communities by using ecotourism as a developmental tool that can help to advance the basic goals of conservation on Biological Diversity. FEES partnering with QOA works to advertise eco-tourism opportunity in Enduimet area. The Sinya Manyata are made to accompany eco-volunteers and attract day visits of eco-tourism by the presence of well-made beds and traditional/cultural dances/activities. Eco-tourism function as a source of income to both community and the Enduimet WMA management. Enduimet Eco-volunteer programme is designed to help the community in various social activities whereby the volunteers engage in various social work in the community including teaching in schools on conservation, health, helping in hospitals, helping in wildlife data collection.
